Thank you for the masterpiece that is Renoise. I also bought Redux (again) today to show some love. I'm sorry for my 'feature request spam'-threads. Please keep this software alive a lifetime <3

Reason is getting VST support :O I believe this puts it above bitwig.
toblerpone@joule: does it?
May 01 2017 03:53
joule@toblerpone, in totality, I think so.
May 01 2017 07:25
ffx@toblerpone: No! Agreed. It should turn into a VST/VSTi instead, nobody needs its ancient DAW capabilities. Imagine as a VST, THAT would be awesome and well worth the money.

RedmanNothings real unless it's observed. Double slit theory. Look it up. Then sink forever into nihilistic bliss

During a song’s playback, triggered notes can be cut short by the Note-Off command. For samples this can trigger any or all of these three things: End Loop, Note-Off Layer and Modulation Release. https://youtu.be/n5QGreldOzo
Working on a new site, tell me what you think: https://thebellows.wixsite.com/minside
RedmanLooks fine. But as a rule you should limit your typeface choices to 2 typefaces [3 at the very most] It helps to keep a sense of continuity to the design, making it more legible and appealing to viewers

TheBellowsThanks, yeah i haven't really thought it through and it will most likely look entirely different soon.

midi errora multi loop switcher
Apr 25 2017 15:53
danoiseWithout tools? Add a bunch of looped samples to your tracks. Then trigger with Gxx command to make them loop seamlessly. Create multiple patterns and switch between them using the "scheduled trigger" (shift-click in patt.sequence)

So much to learn. The absolute depth of electronic music can be bloody overwhelming sometimes....
RedmanAnd here I'm currently am sitting down re-writing out my cv, trying to sort out a foreign work visa, all the while considering taking drum lessons, and having to finish reading a Curtis Roads book. Talk about multitasking haha
Apr 25 2017 15:58
MonsterRadioManTaking music lessons of any kind is absolutely worth your time and money I think.
Apr 26 2017 17:22
RedmanI agree. They're lifelong skills once you have them.

Is Supercollider difficult to learn?
OopsIFlynot only difficult, it is superdifficult, sir.
but you'll never loose access to your work because it is opensource
Apr 22 2017 21:55
RedmanOh snap... I do like a challenge though. Seeing this made me wanna give it a go https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPEdPnl7MrE
Apr 22 2017 22:03
OopsIFlyI always stayed away from it because it can do no vst host/client, and I would want to use in conjunction with a daw. but now steinberg has changed the license, so future looks pretty bright. time to get deep into sc!
