    Yes, I know it's for OSX Mavericks only, but that's what I'm running Renoise on! So, very interested :)

fri-sat-sun has been productive: a script to display sample recorder dialog AND add a #line in device to the channel for FX-monitoring purposes. when you press the shortcut again, it hides the sample recorder dialog and removes the #Line In device. Another similar thing: shortcut for adding/removing #LineIn and sampling/stopping sampling from sample recorder. and now a shortcut to save song, tmp-save current sample, create new song and load tmp-saved sample.. still some fiddling required but ...

hi, some guy on ircnet #renoise is seeking a "100 row note content to 128 row note content" spreader, where can i find the tool that dblue coded that allows for this

    i looked for dblue pattern many times on the search and it found nothing.

    i guess i'll just use google site:forum.renoise.com from now on since it was able to find it with dblue pattern, pretty much immediately.

one-stop shortcut: write LPB/BPM to current pattern, clone current pattern, multiply LPB by 2, write LPB/BPM to cloned pattern, select whole pattern, expand selection, unmark selection -> you just went from LPB4 resolution to LPB8 from within a song, without issues.

    not yet, but he's working on a new version which does attenuate delay values (and scale all other time based pattern commands).

    actually, the version is finished already, but he wants to work on it longer. Maybe you can contact Mogue through pm and ask him to test it?

    The LPBx tool has been updated in the post esaruoho: http://forum.renoise.com/index.php?/topic/27392-snippet-convert-song-from-lpb4-to-lpb12/page__view__findpost__p__215777 -- The one-stop shortcut is an interesting alternative though, gj with paketti!

awesome. audio input latency = 14ms, sample recorder compensate for input latency by 14ms. result = finally stuff aligns!!!! \o/ \o/ \o/

    now if only this could be set to be controlled by the preferences->audio latency directly.

    Esa, there is hardward latency too. Make sure it's as near to sample-perfect as possible. Perfect alignment is impossible.

    well, stuff starts where it's supposed to, not "just a bit later than it's supposed to". not sure about what to do with usb-mic / hardware latency stuff, so 14ms definitely helped with 14ms latency stuff.

renoise.song().selection_in_pattern = awesomeness

    esaruoho
    well it allowed for the cloning of ALT-L *2 and ALT-D behaviour with impulsetracker (ALT-L is "mark current track" with the next keypress marking the whole pattern) (ALT-D is "mark LPB-amount rows, on repeat, multiply selection amount").
    But I think a couple of months from now we'll start seeing some serious stuff done with selection in pattern.
