You Don't Need Vanguard Anymore

This is a very small Renoise 1.9 demonstration track with a very big sound:

(You’ll need the free Stardust multi-band compressor plug-in: http://www.aodix.com/pagestardust.html))

Yes… it’s all based on saws, sines and squares.
All instruments were generated by using “Render to Sample” to layer the chipSquare and chipSaw xrni’s that come with 1.9 :)

Vanguard… you don’t need Vanguard. Renoise sounds nicer on its own, thankyou very much.

Just wanted to quickly mention that you’ve also used “vibrator” VST effect in this song. I don’t know how important it is to the sound since I don’t actually have it.

PS. Very clever trick on the kick/snare track :)

.

It’s not used: I ended up “vibrating” the waveforms using instrument LFO’s for maximum renoise-purity :)

TRACK 1 is empty and has it applied.

Whoever HAS the vibrator plugin (http://www.ismism.de/VIBRATOR.zip) can play plain square, saw, whatever on Track 1 without screwing with LFO settings manually. Have fun.

yeah, i liked the cick/snare technique the most :D
