In Renoise, the volume for a Renoise instrument (sample based) ranges from 00 to 40 (hex). For MIDI instruments it ranges from 00 to 7F.
When using VSTi however it seems we’re back to 00-40, so only 64 different velocity levels… It would be nice to handle VSTi’s volume/velocity as for MIDI… I think.
