Hai!

I would like a dry/wet slider on the Renoise internal compressor devices.

A neat trick from U.S. hiphop is to keep the compressed (wet) level below the dry level.

I want to be able to achieve that without having to use a send track.

Thank you!

I don't think I have ever seen a compressor like that. Unfortunately the demand for this is simply too low :(

You'd be surprised if you look for parallel compression. ;)

Just out of curiosity: why not? It works great that way!

Dunno... everytime I suggested "dry/wet on all internal and VST fx" everybody seemed to want it. Cuz it makes sense.

hay guises! action/reaction. I'm not into leaving or avoiding places, I ban 'em by making sure I get banned.. loadsa noise, little signal.. basically anything else makes more sense to spend energy on. thanks for the app, but from here on out we simply don't have any use for each other period. oh, and of course big shoutouts to bit-arts and kaneel and anyone else I forgot :D :D

Can't this be done by setting up a send device / channel?

i prefer using a send channel for parallel compression, or how do you control the volume of the compressed thing ? using the threshold ? Ö.ö
there is absolutly no need for a dry/wet control (imho)

I would also prefer to use a send track. The problem with wet/dry controls in general is that when you want to increase the level of the processed signal it also reduces the level of the dry signal. This may be a matter of personal taste, but it is not always desirable.
