Useful Screen Capture For Posting Tools.

Just a tip for a freeware screencapture program I found that was useful for posting pics on the tools site:

it allows you to right-click and save presets for size of screengrabs to take.

i.e. 120x45 pixels for your small image, 240x90 pixels for the medium etc.

The jpgs seemed a little more grainy than another I use but this feature seemed useful enough for tools to post.

for these kind of images nothing beats .png

they’re usually smaller yet better (= perfect) looking out of the box, and if they aren’t (small enough), there’s stuff like pngslim.

edit. Just seen that cropper will do png aswell so I will experiment a bit with it.
