Question About Delay And Filter Effect...

hi, i’ve got the following problem:

i stop my beat with note off. the last played second is delayed with an automatition envelope (small peak in sendtrack). then i want to fade out the delayed echoes with a LP-filter envelope. but the filter doesn’t apply on the echoes.
as i remember, this works fine in earlier renoise versions…

is there any way to do this in 1.27?

if I’ve understood what you mean, you should try putting the delay BEFORE the filter.

If I did not understood, then what you are saying is impossible :)

i’ll try to explain it better in an example:

at line 00 i play a sample and put the amount of delay to 90%. then at line 04 there is a note off. then you don’t here the source sample, only the echoes from the delay. these echoes i want to fade out with a filter (so that the echoe sounds dumper and dumper). But the filter effect doesn’t apply to the delay output. as it seems, it only applies to the source signal (the source sample).
and this can’t be impossible, i’ve done it with an earlier renoise version…

If you are using the delay in a sendtrack, put the filter behind the delay also into the sendtrack and automate it.

ohhh man,
the thing with the order of the effects was the right hint
i had the filter effect before the delay effect.

thx a lot for help…
