When Recording, Notes Are Entered Too Early

Hi there,

Been using renoise for some months now. However, I still have a problem concerning entering notes live.
Most of the notes I enter live are entered too early!
With a simple 4x4 dance beat with renoise settings eg. 130 / 06, the notes arent on the one, but often 1/16 before that.
. - - - . - - - . - - - . - - -
becomes

      • . - - - . - - - . - - - .
        where . is the bassdrum.

When recording with notedelay on, I can make the offset a bit smaller.
But I just want to enter a steady dance rhythm, so notedelay stays off in this case.

Now this problem isnt midi related since I have the same prob. when entering them through my qwerty pc keyboard.
Its also not vst related cause it also happens with samples.

Is there maybe a way around this for example an input delay slider to tweak it a bit?

I read somewhere on the forum that its a general pc prob and most pc music software have this problem. However in fasttracker2 the offset was much smaller if I remember correctly.

Currently using v1.281 on a pentium4 system.

Unfortunately no but I would definitely like to see a feature like this in renoise!
