Could we get a quick clean up of these links? A lot of them are broken now.

Feel free to go through them all and weed out the broken links, then reply with a list of the ones that still work :)

Hey. I'm looking for folly samples. You know. Like sounds of car horns, bell towers, dogs barking and the like. Looking for water dropping at the moment. I have a little Yamaha feild recorder and tend to record a lot of stuff myself. But Freesoundproject.com is the only one I know of so far. Anybody know of any gooder sites?

musicradar.co.uk 's sampleradar has a lot of great quality packs.
apart from that.. lot of samplepacks just aren't free. i got a 6-dvd pack of foley(?) samples from BBC lying around somewhere but i hardly use it..
freesound.org is hard to find what you want, easy to get lost and end up with gigabytes of samples you're never gonna use :D

http://www.blumarten...999-samplepack/

This pack is made up of samples taken from tracks in our record collection. It started as a bit of fun to kill time in between proper music work and suddenly became quite large, so it seemed a shame not to share it.

These are not some secret special sounds only available to ‘jungle legends’. Anyone with the tracks and some time to waste could have made this pack.

I just stumbled into this. It's the Sonatina Symphonic Orchestra, a free orchestral sample library made by Mattias Westlund from samples freely available in the web, converted to Renoise's instrument format:

http://www.scene.org...c Orchestra OK/

The original is in sfz format. I had started to convert it, slowly (I made a script that handles that sort of thing), and today I found this.

That's an insanely nice find Posted Image/>
Thanks!

Edit: If you're planning on downloading them all, there's a .zip in the parent dir. (it says 'most', but it's all 55 of them)

MusicRadar does have free sample packs:

I see the post that said they weren't is from 2012, perhaps they changed. These are free to use.
