Description:

Renoise crashes always when trying to create section with clicking on pattern in level of "pattern matrix track names". It "hasn't got place" for showing section header, so its crashing.

You don't need any space to create Sections.

Error message? Log file?

Key bit of information missing from first post??

I just did what was in his picture.

This is what he means by not enough room.
First of all, the Pattern Matrix must be visible.

See the difference in the images below. The top image has a cell's size gap between the 'play' buttons and the cells in the matrix/sequencer.
The bottom image doesn't have that, so it "hasn't got space" to show the new section header, as mr.Positive says.

Right click on Zero and create a new section won't crash

Confirmed on Linux 64bit. It crashes when the pattern matrix is visible, exactly like Jenoki described.
Good catch mr.Positive!

OK I see, it will crash if the section (with the X button to delete it) would be where the play buttons and track colours etc are at the top of the matrix. There are three sequencer patterns which fall within this boundary.

The second and third one down will only crash Renoise if there is no pattern name area expanded. If you have this also stretch open then the name and delete button will appear in there with no error.

The very top sequence pattern will always crash Renoise, even with the pattern names visible. It tries to create the sequence name and button off the top of the visible area.

The saved crash file has the sections correctly made.

Surprised I didn't come across this when making my Jump To Section X shortcuts/MIDI maps and was randomly adding sections all over the place. Good catch!
