There are a few things about the way automation works in Renoise that I can’t figure out.
Question no.1
I’m working with automation envelopes, and I’d like to know if it’s possible to change which interpolation type is used by default? I want to be able to record automations using the interpolation I want, and not have to open the envelope afterwards in order to change it.
Question no.2
Let’s say I’ve recorded an automation envelope and I’m not happy with how it turned out, so I decide to overwrite it. By default, Renoise overwrites an automation point only if the new point is recorded at the exact same time. This means that if you record an automation that begins before the old point and ends after it, the old automation point will not be overwritten. Is there a way to change this behaviour?
