TR-808 GMKit stock instrument question(s)

Hi there,

  1. I was wondering, why are the samples in the stockTR-808 GMKit distributed over the keyboard as they are? Is that some kind of General Midi standart?

  2. Is the drum_perc_maracas_03 samples intentionally left in the “mute” modulation group or is this a “bug”?

Yep, it’s following the standard MIDI template.
We adopted this layout to make it easy to swap samples, copy phrases between instruments etc.

As for (2), that’s definitely an error. Thanks for pointing that out!
