this has happend occassionaly (I think) after changing a device's pitch range several times.
The range sometimes gets a little out of tune.
I attached an instrument where this occured. It has a square lfo on pitch going from 0 to 12 st. it should be alternating over an octave. but it doesn't.
I recreated the same modulation set (because just copying doesn't do it) and it behaved as assumed, when I link the sample to it.

Thanks for reporting. There is indeed something fishy going on here. Your pitch range was actually set to 12.4 internally, not 12.

We'll look into it and fix it :)

In the meantime, you can double click the pitch range value to directly input the correct amount.
