The background drumming is not too busy, but is broken up enough to be interesting.
The wandering tones make for interesting dissonances without being too intrusive.
The harmonic progress and tonal alterations carry a lot of development - more than I’d expect from general electronica.
The whole thing carries a bit of late 1980s style, and that’s a good thing.
The development at 1:45 through about 2:30 isn’t quite transcendental in nature, but heralds further shifts. It makes me hungry for what comes at 2:45.

Cool track! It is perceived in one breath like a spectacular story, each beat makes a listener interested in what comes next. As if the track turned you on: firstly exciting drum, then groovy bass switches at 1.42, and at 2.50 when the track comes to the bridge and moves out it till the very end. Looking forward to your next composition!
