New tune, full dubstep, it can be done in Renoise. Had to turn it out quick because of life happening.

Now gonna kill myself for dubstep.

It is certainly both dubby and steppy.

You drop the bass with conviction, and you lead up to it with a reasonable rhythm.

There does seem to be limited development in the song, as if you retread the same ground in melodic terms a few times.

I wonder if you could do dubstep takes on two different tracks and blend them that way? Perhaps a dubstep call and response?

I wouldn’t even call this dubstep but it sounds good for the style it is. Full and fat, except the snare, think that could have more low end punch.

I agree that the piano part in the beginning got more than a bit monotonous. It started out as just an 8 bar little thing, but it lead up to the drop too quickly and temporally it was much too fast. Now though I could probably fit a whole binary form there. Guess it was just me being lazy.

The whole reason for this tune was me hearing some of the tracks on Zomboy’s new EP and hearing him use the same rhythmic idea over and over, and saying ‘hey, I could do that’. I still need more practice if I were to really get good at this.

Short but substantial track. There is atmospheric piano, chip-tune’s granules, laser shooting bass, and vocal picked up correctly. Great work.
