So Dark - I always have a hard time categorizing my music

Hey Guys,

Here is my last track, hope you’ll enjoy it.

Putting a style tag on my tracks is always something I found really hard!

Sometimes I ask friends “Which style is this?” and the answers they gave me are most of the time not what I expected.

This one has melodic / hardcore / step inspiration to it … I tagged it as “slowcore” on soundcloud, but I don’t think it is appealing :confused:

I would love to hear what you think about this song in general, and about its style in particular!

I thought about hardstep, but that term is used for an entirely different (even misleading) sounding genre. I will still call it bangin’ though :wink:

Very nice track! and very inspiring! If the melodic parts were less digital and more gritty I would have rated this 10/10. but then again, that’s a personal opinion.

Yeah I thought about hardstep too, but as you said it is already an existing genre… Maybe DubCore o_O ?
