Thoughts on Burial

So I was listening to my new vinyl Burial Rival Dealer EP.

Good stuff I was thinking then just at the end of side two the track just abruptly finishes with a sound like the record just being swiped off.

I pondered for at least a minute. How brave is this producer that he can just make such a bold statement with his scratches and background noise - at the end particularly.

I was in awe. Then I realised that actually there was some fluff on the needle and it was my turntable that did the ending

aw that was a message directed at you maybe?

Heh heh cool stuff often comes by chance - use it as inspiration for your own work! Have fun deliberately placing lints on your turntable for hours while sampling the output, maybe you can make it happen one more time.
