0G00 == 0GFF?

sure sounds like it… the manual says " 0Gxx - Glide towards given note by xx 1/16ths of a semitone (01 is 1/16th of a semitone, 08 is half a semitone, 10 is a whole semitone). A value of FF will make the slide instant."

Does 0G00 have a different behavior from 0GFF that I just don’t know about / can’t hear?

Like many other commands, 0G00 will continue the value set by the previous command.

So 0G01 followed by 0G00 will continue the glide at speed 01.

0G02 followed by 0G00 will continue the glide at speed 02.

And so on…

0GFF will instantly glide to the new note, thus rendering any following 0G00 commands useless (because it’s already reached the target note by that point).

Edit: I should clarify: 0GFF followed by 0G00 is not useless if the 0G00 commands are paired with additional new notes to glide to. I just meant that a 0GFF command followed by 0G00 (and no new notes) will be pointless, because the glide already reached its target instantly after the first command.

Like many other commands, 0G00 will continue the value set by the previous command.

ah right… I spaced a bit on this one. thanks :walkman:
