Again

Hi. I’m using Renoise (and to a lesser extent Logic) for a piano-based project called «Again» (working title).

It’s a ‘share your process’ type project, so thought I’d make a single thread for it here where I’ll keep posting any significant changes.

Here’s the most recent track

With a few triggering and timing issues that I’ll fix that at some point, along with overall dynamics, etc, but the basic composition is done.

You can find the whole project athttp://soundcloud.com/jiku/sets/again.

Just a lot of bits and bobs. Basically all of these save for a few were tracked in Renoise. Same goes for most of the stuff in my profile.

Thanks for your time. =)

Really beautiful  Does a git a bit “unrealistic” at around the 2 minute mark but that’s probably intentional!

Is this logic rewired to renoise for the piano?

Thanks! Yeah no I gave up on realism long ago. But I’m hoping some performers could adapt it at some point.
Piano is just a custom Kontakt multi so I often skip Logic but lately and with this that instrument is hosted in Logic, then tracked through using MIDI and Rewire for transport.

I`m to weak for that. But it seems o be a rather good piano track, even for a hotel pianist.

Added a bunch of tracks (WIPs) to this project since, and a site at http://jiku.ca/again (prototype, but hopefully works on newer desktop configs for now).

There’s info on there about what I’m trying to do with the project. Basically it’ll be an automated, continuous delivery system for music and other stuff. Here’s a quick sample
