Soundcloud embed test

Artist profile (latest track)

Single track (with artwork)

Single track (no artwork)

Testing the new soundcloud embed - HTML5, accepts both http and https
Edit: Yay, seems to work.

There are no embed codes, just paste a Soundcloud link like this

-- Artist profile (latest track)
https://soundcloud.com/renoise

-- Single track (with artwork)
https://soundcloud.com/renoise/redux-demo-wide-vision

-- Single track (no artwork)
http://soundcloud.com/renoise/redux-demo-wide-vision&show_artwork=false

Old posts are still using the previous player - but editing them should convert to the newer one.

Yay!

Yoohoo! Nice and fat )

How do you make that annoying “first pause ad” go away? Hhrm…

It only happens when embedding tracks from a free account.

Renoise became a paid account since yesterday

But the ad is still there. Guess I will be digging through the docs to see if there is something I missed

I can’t see no ad here.

This is what I mean:

soundcloud_hear_more.png?raw=1

Perhaps ad is the wrong word, and it only appears first time I press pause.
Still, it’s annoying as you have to click close (X) to make it disappear.

I’m pretty sure it can be fixed. Just need to properlydig in…

Nice track by the way!

Hey danoise, is it possible to disable this cover-stretched-backdrop feature? IMHO it makes most embed look horrible.

I think the idea of artwork is great, but yes, it’s a little brutal ATM.

I am going to do another update to the player, hopefully with a control (albeit limited)of the SoundCloud API. You can then choose to include artwork, or not.

Edit: done. Check first post for examples on how to embed different types of content

cool, thx! much better! edit: mouse over shot missing some button text like “visit…”
