Last Nerve

When i woke up today i told myself to make an epic masterpiece, so i did…at least try my best. :stuck_out_tongue:

Hope you’ll enjoy it.

Great track. Starting lead holds you in suspense during the whole track. Very fat and rich kick echoes in chest with a sweet explosion. Elaborated textures at the background are just perfect. 3.40 was unexpected and very interesting, as if ripping a listener out of their hypnotic state for a second.

The 3:40 was something that happened by mistake, but i thought it was so cool i kept it.

I noticed there are a bit too much rumble going on, but apart from that i’m very happy with the result this time. I concentrated more on the textures and the subtle variations throughout giving it a bit more organic and dynamic feel than most of my other stuff. Think i’ll continue working on things like this, using more layers and automation to keep the sound constantly moving on and not get boring too fast.

I’m working on it some more now, beefed up the arps a bit with some saw and square, removed some rumble and changed a part near the end as i think the pluck sound there didn’t really fit in. Uploadinga new version as soon as i remastered it.

Thanks for commenting!

Edit: I uploaded a new version now, the 3:40 thing have disappeared for some reason and i have no idea whaere it came from at the moment. :stuck_out_tongue:

It is indeed! Synth at 3.40 plays as if singing saw, maybe it did this strange sound before. Sometimes delay with feedback automation does these things. Anyway, this sound should be sampled J You could try to use it somehow, modulate, delay, or something else. I have been always interested in this kind of things in music, which are born incidentally. And yes, new version sounds even fresher.
