I have a "song" I made to listen to a number of bass riffs I recorded and sampled.
The bass sample changes every 4 patterns. It's a way of deciding if any of these riffs are worth developing into a longer piece.
It occurred to em that it would be very slick to be able to select a range of patterns and have it extracted and saved as a new xrns file, complete with instruments and device chains.
Does such a tool exist (or is there some slick built-in way to do this)?
My work-around would be to just copy the xrns file and delete all but the sections I want.

Is there a tool to extract a set of patterns to a new song?
