Hello,

In the EQ5 and EQ10

you can set values up to - and +20dB via the slider (invisible by default)

and you can set values up to - and +18dB via dragging the points in the graph

is there an option to make - and +20dB possible via dragging the points?

In 3.1 you are supposed to be able to set from -48dB to 48dB, by switching scale in graph.

However I found another bug while looking at eatme's problem in EQ5 and EQ10:

Even if you switched to larger scale (-48dB to 48dB), you cannot reach more than -20dB to 20dB using the sliders in expanded mode. So I guess this would lead into various problems.

I wish you could set steeper slopes with the EQ like you can with it's filters.  I like to make surgical edits and having those slopes in the eq would be great.

You can change the slope of each point by holding right click and drag up and down on a point

yes, since eqs now will be enhanced in 3.1, I also would like to have a bit more of available steepness, even if it would result in a negative little bump. Dunno if it then can still be backwards compatible.

Right, but you can't replicate a slope like say for instance with the Chebyshev 4n & 8n or even the Butterworths.  I'm talking about that level of steepness.  Adding that to the Q's in both EQ5 and 10 would be great.

Of course you can do this with band 2-4... But a steeper curve for band 1+5 I would welcome.
