Just noticed when going thru some old projects that the scream filter doesn't generate the same results in Renoise 3.1.0 as in Renoise 3.0.1 and earlier. The filter seems to go much "deeper".

I have attached two files with the exact same part with the exact same parameters, but with quite different results. It seems like the scream filter has been removed in 3.1.0 but I hope that it will act the same way for older tracks.

Thanks!

Scream filter parameters:

type             lowpass

distortion     63%
cutoff           1.18 khz
resonance   18%
inertia           instant

Hello. The frequency indeed is scaled differently in 3.1. The old scream filter wasn't "sample rate safe", which we've fixed in 3.1 but we also did a small mistake here. Will fix that for 3.1 final.

Hi again!

Just checked out the RC1 and there still seems to be some issues with the filter scaling. A cutoff frequency of 1 kHz in 3.0 corresponds to 2 kHz in 3.1.

Anyhow, great work as always!
