sample trimming is influenced by looping point

if you have a loop set in sample editor, sample trimming ( CTRL+T)  trimms to loop end point instead

of your selections end point

Does that always happen to you? Surely should not. If it's happening with a specific song/sample/instrument only, could you please share it with us? Else, is there maybe a tool that you've installed which somehow breaks this behavior?

it happens on a  new empty song with any sample i try.

I dont have tools that are loop-point or trimming related, i think.    it happens with all tools disabled

Could you please try to explain, as detailed as possible, what exactly you are doing in order to trim the sample?

-> loop-E wird verschoben

Ah, OK, so it's the other way around than you described it earlier. Trimming modifies the loop end point and not loop point modifies trimming area. Thanks. Will fix that.
