On Linux: showing 'dot' directories ?

Hello,

Case in point: access to the multitude of Bitwig samples. They are installed in a ‘dot’ directory eg. .BitwigStudio/. This directory is not shown in Renoise even when ‘show all files’ is enabled. Workaround: copy the 1.4G of samples elsewhere. I know disk space is cheap, but by principle this is duplicated data. Is there a way inb Renoise to show those hidden directories ?

Cheers.

A work around would be to create a symlink which doesn’t have a leading dot.

I would like to know the answer as well though, maybe there’s a trick to enable it that I don’t know of.

yeah i’d symlink it too. clicking the . button in the browser doesn’t seem to show dot directories on osx either. maybe i’ll resample a copy of my kernel now.
