Hello, i use Asio (or WASAPI, but Renoise doesnt support that) in Reaper and other DAWs. Everything is allright there.
If i use ASIO with Renoise, i select it. Than i want to switch a soundcard (from integrated to usb) and Renoise crashes. Everytime i open renoise after that, it crashes in moment i select Asio (it is not saved because of crash)

I dont have this problem with any other DAW or with any different version of Windows :-).
I ve tried last three Asio version, no changes…

ASIO4All on Windows 10 (64bit only) seems to be the problem here. Some configurations randomly crash down ASIO4All here. Will try to find out more info and send it to the ASIO4All crew.
Yeah ive never had similar problem with renoise before windows 10
on the other hand, Reaper doesnt have this problem
There’s always FL studio’s asio driver (install fl studio demo, uninstall the demo) and Steinberg’s generic asio driver, you could try those.
I use generic one, other works no better as i know.
btw once renoise crashes it cant be opened until i unplug my usb card and force asio to use integrated intel sound card
It would be great if Renoise could use WASAPI as almost any host right now

Renoise crashes always when i switrch internal soundcard into usb soundcard in asio.
Tracktion crashes often, not always.
Reaper is usually stable with the same asio.
