Linux: (Randomly) Garbled interface after x-server update

Hi, today I noticed that Renoise’s interface is suddenly garbled, no matter how many times I restart the program or the computer.

I’m running version 3.1 and I haven’t changed the version since a long time, the problem appeared without changing anything in Renoise.

My system is Debian Linux stretch/sid, this is my lspci output:

00:00.0 Host bridge: Intel Corporation 3rd Gen Core processor DRAM Controller (rev 09)

03:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Centrino Wireless-N 2230 (rev c4)
04:00.0 Ethernet controller: Qualcomm Atheros AR8161 Gigabit Ethernet (rev 10)

It doesn’t seem to matter if I start Renoise just like this (using the Intel GFX card) or with optirun/bumblebee (using the Nvidia GFX card).

Renoise seems to be the only application on my system that exposes this problem.

I’ve attached a screenshot where the redrawing problems show in track headers, instrument and effects list.

But the garbled graphics seem to show up anywhere in the window.

Thanks for any hint how this could be fixed.

Greetings,

vitaminx

I’ve just tested version 3.0.1 and the same happens.

A xserver-xorg downgrade fixed it, still wondering though why Renoise is the only affected program
