Hi guys:

I would want you to listen to my new song: Estigmata 6.

Thanks!

Ernesto

I had a listen. It’s a soundtrack type of song.

Thanks HeartBeatHero!

Agree with Heartbeathero, it does have a cinematic quality and could most likely translate well to film.

Thanks Abissus!!

It sounds nice.

Perhaps it could be a bit more dynamic and a bit more/deeper bass?

Some experiments you could try:

Make an LFO control the BPM on the master, finetune it to the BPM you want and make it only slightly move it up and down. I find this to add some ‘live’ sound.

Not shure if you use the global groove? This also helps making a it sound a bit more lively.

Add a sub bass just to emphasise the main hits.

Piano seems like it’s stereo is floating a bit here and there, my suggestion is to use a keytracker so that each key has it’s own place in the stereo field.

Some fine EQ automation can also make things sound a bit more dynamic. For this i often automate the offset of this doofer:http://forum.renoise.com/index.php/files/file/303-wide-boost-narrow-cut-eq/

they are only suggestions, maybe they work for you or maybe they don’t, but might be worth a try.

TheBellows!

I will try your suggestions. Really appreciated!

Thanks a lot.

Agreeing too… this definitely is sort of a film score, and I think it’s the final credits.

Even more I fantasize this as an 80’s youth movie, the sort of movie you feel sad,

because it’s over - the characters somehow “continue” in your mind at this point ;).

Btw, in my ears, this sounds quite european…

Really good work, and as TheBellows already said: USE renoise! For this track

you could achieve so much with renoise with LFOs, automation and stuff…

Thumbs up - keep it up!

Regards,

René

Thanks for your comments René! I will implement your suggestions, thanks!!!
