I know this doesn’t help much at the moment, but we do provide a fully working demo version so that you can test compatibility with your system — Why choose to ignore this?

it should work, you redux is not compatible…

Studio One is obviously a major DAW, so we have of course tested Redux with it on Windows and Mac, in both versions 2 and 3.

It should indeed be compatible, so let’s try to figure out why it’s not working for you, ok?

First of all, please send us a copy of your Redux “Log.txt”, as this may reveal some extra clues.

On Windows you can find it in the following location via Explorer (or Start > Run):

%appdata%\Renoise Redux\V1.0.1\

Now then…

When you say that it doesn’t load, can you be more precise?

Does it not show up anywhere in the DAW?

Does it show up, but it cannot be loaded onto a track?

Does it load, but the GUI does not appear, or it does not produce sound, or some other major problem?

Do you see any error messages at any point? If so, what do they say?

Does Studio One’s plugin manager indicate any potential problems, any error messages, etc?

Which exact version of Studio One are you using, and is it 32-bit or 64-bit?

How exactly have you installed Redux?

Renoise is quite forgiving when it comes to your VST plugins, but other DAWs are not always quite so forgiving. Did you install both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Redux into the same general VST plugin folder? If so, then it’s possible that Studio One is detecting the wrong bit version of Redux first, and then simply ignoring the correct one.

If you run Studio One 64-bit, for example, and it detects Redux 32-bit first, then it may choose to simply ignore the correct Redux 64-bit version afterwards. It’s difficult to say for sure, so some more information about your system would be useful here.

Anything else you can think of worth mentioning?
