Autoseek bug with multiple AS samples in one track

Autoseek doesn’t work on instrument 00 in attached song.

Try play from line 01 in pattern 1. Sample will not play.

Hide the second column in Track 1. It works again.

Do you consider it a bug? If so, will it be fixed?

I agree Drop Shadow, I would say it is a subtle bug :slight_smile:

I found you can simplify your example to just this:

Something to do with that note off in column 1 (after the sample has played) and column 2. If you move the sample trigger note from column 1 to column 2 in the second pattern the autoseek works fine. Hmmm, interesting.

And just to clarify, because this had me a little confused:

pattern and line is the second one (counting from zero - 0,1,2…)

So you need to move the cursor into the second line of the second pattern, and press SHIFT+SPACE to play in order to experience this issue.

Thanks for asking. I think this thread should be official enough.

I hope this will be fixed for next bug fix release. It affects quite a few of my tracks.
