I remember a couple of years ago (i think Renoise 2.7 or 2.8) it was possible to copy data from inside Renoise to a outside source.

For example, when you copied the note data from the sequencer and paste it in a text editor you could see the xml.

Now, I can't even copy a text from the song comment.

Why isn't that possible anymore?

Is there a way to work around this?

Peace

I just tried this with Renoise 3.1.0 on Windows 7 and it worked fine.

I copied some notes from a pattern and got a nice chunk of XML.

I tried this both with ctrl+c and by right-clicking and using the Copy option from the menu.  Both ways worked.

Can you copy data from other programs, or is this limited to Renoise?

Ok, did some experimenting.
With ctrl-c it seems to work (well, thats embarrassing). With the Copy option menu I can copy but don't paste it. I have to use ctrl-v instead.

In firefox none of the 2 methods work. Can't copy from Renoise into the webbrowser.

Copying from one instance of Renoise to another one don't work neither.

Anyway, thanks for the reply :-)
