If there is an arpeggiator VST on track 01, is it possible to record it’s MIDI output to another track (so that it is written to the pattern data)?

Not the super elegant solution, but:
You could hook up the plugin to a virtual MIDI port and return it back into a specific instrument/track using the midi input tab.
Probably introduces a small amount of delay…which could be corrected e.g. using Advanced edit/nudge
