I don’t know for you guys, but I would see Renoise remembering the last used path for each kind of area use like:
When I load/save
- An instrument
- Sample
- Device chain
- Effect presets
- Doofer
- A song
Of what I know now, Renoise is sharing the same “last used” path for all these load /save area. (when using the load command from context menu)
Being an organized man myself, all these files are separated in differents folder, so it would be nice to avoid longer browsing…
Am I alone in that case?
A good workaround is to use the drag n drop fashion with the 4 custom path buttons in the renoise’s browser right pane, but my concern is about the “load” command in context menu only.
And by the way, I love the arrow button allowing to load the next sample available in the folder on the Convolver Device. Very usefull to try things.
