i can’t find the option to change the new phrase init template.
anyone can point me into the right direction?

The phrase editor doesn’t have templates, only presets.
So you always have an init phrase which contain a single C-4 note.
I usually duplicate phrases (to create variations, once I have something interesting going) or load up a preset as a starting point.

You can’t. It’s fixed.But I wonder what you’d like to have instead?
Remember, presets are just one click away.
Still, would be even more nice if we could access the preset popup via some keyboard accessor/shortcut B)

create phrase is one click away.
