A small editstep tweak. When editstep is set to zero, the cursor will cycle thru columns when entering notes.
(I’ve never found much use for editstep = 0, but this tweak makes it quite usable for entering chords on one line. I think a similar behavior should be native for digits in effect columns et c.)

Mmmm. Not to be a buzzkill, but are youaware of what the shift modifier does during pattern input?
It allows input of chords and multiple digits… much like this tool
