How i can back to the first file in my folder in Disk Browser?

Hi

Example: I opened folder with my kicks in a Disk Browser -> scrolled down completely with Down Arrow Key. So how i can back to the first file in my folder in Disk Browser without mouse/up arrow key scrolling? Any shortcut for this?

Best,

Andrey

‘Home’ -key

‘Home’ -key

Mate, i’m on mac. How exactly named this key in Shortcuts list? For me Home key by default is Selection and not Jump On First File in a list in Disk Browser.

Maybe: Function Key + Left Arrow?

Not sure, I am on Win / Linux.

I did not find Shortcut to remap either.

Your idea is very good! Fn + Arrow jumping thru list instead of scrolling  Thanks!

Look under: Preferences > Keys > Disk Browser > Selection

Select First Entry

Select Last Entry

etc.

By default these should be mapped to whichever standard keys the OS itself uses for navigating list boxes.

Hi, as a fellow macOS user, I’ve mapped alt-up and alt-down to be “Select First Entry” and “Select Last Entry”.

It seems to help somewhat. Now, my issue is trying to change from Disk Browser focus to Pattern Editor focus, as having a “back’n’forth” shortcut for switching across Disk Browser Focus and Pattern Editor Focus would be really helpful for my workflow.
