Hey,

where to buy *native* instruments on-line? Looking for pianos, pads and beat slices. And also some generic collections with "all in box" to start with.

I prefer to buy native instruments which (I hope) were tested in Renoise, or at least intruments that Renoise can load and interpret well (SFZ?)

Alternatively, recommend me some good buys in non-native format and a tool that can do the job for me, but please only those which you tested and sound well.

I know Renoise full version comes with collection of samples and I am planning to buy the license soon, I am just not fully decided to go for it and want to wait for the next version.

Is there a list of what's inside Backstage Library? Had to miss it on the main page.

Thanks!

Edit: Corrected "Renoise" vs "Reason", that was indeed a typo :-)

If you need acoustic drums, Drumdrops sells their drum sample library's in Renoise format.  I build the patches for them myself.  Great samples, lots of velocity layers.

All the artist packs which also make up extras for Renoise Redux:

http://www.renoise.c...ts/redux/extras

They all install as "Renoise libraries", meaning that you are installing not just a bunch of instruments but potentially also effect presets, standalone waveforms or multisample (keyzone) presets.

+ a few "library samplers" from Mode Audio
+ Beatslaughter, Puremagnetic XRNI's (legacy instruments, v2.7 I think)

Yeah, I saw that page. Not much info tho, would love to see some examples or ideally list of the content packs (file lists).

Thanks so far!

Hey,

where to buy *native* instruments on-line?

I am also curious about this. Especially since (if I remember correctly) the commercial interest of third parties was one of the arguments for sticking with the highly criticized instrument modulation concept back then. What happened?

3rd parties have little interest in Renoise, I do a little work for some suppliers, I have asked about supporting Renoise/Redux.
Two common answers..
Not interested
Never heard of those re they Reason plugins ?

It will take an independent to do it, and I'm not sure the customer base is there.

I think Renoise/Redux needs to do this the other way around - importing industry standard file formats. The EXS24 lua plugin no longer works, I hacked it a bit but it did not locate files correctly from Garageband (that library is a mess).

Is a good set of sounds, wish they still supported Renoise

It's not a shop - but you can find and contribute instruments for Renoise in the

Downloads section - instruments on the Renoise website.

Have the 60's rogers kit. Fun to use and sounds great!

Would be curious how many they are...
