I have recently got a msg someone called Mike CDR through soundcloud.
I usually get some msg through soundcloud and 99% are hoax. Porn or something like that.
Has anyone else here ever got anything like that over there ?
What ponder me is that i am total amateur what comes to music Sound quality is poor / mixing / mastering.
I just make music to somehow express my self because i feel like there is something that wanna come out and music is the only
way to “say” it
What comes to this approach im not taking it so seriously but it made me curious that how many others this sort of thing has happened.
I just cant think of reason why would they want to publish my song/s under their label ?

Now as u can tell this is more likely an automated msg … maybe even a bot or something.
I don’t trust anyone who offers anything through soundcloud. I’ve paid for premium membership for a while, but all i get in return is shitloads of spam, less features (no more groups) and next to no real listeners. SC doesn’t get 1 penny more from me, i’m sick of their shit.

I realize that eventually spammers gets to every sites specially if they are free.

I like Internet Archive, there you may upload all kinds of stuff, but is probably not the best site for promoting your stuff. It’s more like a place to backup your songs and make them available in many different formats. It has an embeddable mp3 player too though, so it’s quite versatile.

It is a fake label that releases works without qualification . Contracts with them may be rewritten or modified in any moment , They hold all the money as other artists told me .
I contacted them as a spy act [only to make sure that they do a legal act] . They asked 80 EURO for the promotion things after signing the contract . They held back by signature on another modified contract with extra paragraphs that contain : Artist must pay 80 EU to the label for promotion things . I asked another artists about that , they dont do any promotion . Hold the 100% of sells to themselves .

I received my login credentials to the distributor’s website where I can monitor my sales every day, I have downloaded and requested my payment and I received it on time. Their promotion is real and it works, otherwise they would not have two EP in the top 10 on Beatport. I did not find anything strange or not legal, again I am very pleased to work with them. They also built for free, my artist page on their site, loaded my podcast ,sent me feedback on my EP from other Produces and send me back my mastered tracks.
