Multiband compressor on a single track?

I wanted a vocal processor for Renoise. So I started reverse-engineering the Ableton Live effects chain found here.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfRo8oo6rUo

I was able to do it, but I had to use the AUMultibandCompressor for the De-Esser portion. I was wondering if it would be possible to make a Doofer with a multiband compressor without involving multiple tracks.

I attached my Vocal Processor Doofer if anyone is curious.

No, but you can make an instrument that can do this sort of. Just make the multiband effects in the instrument DSP chains and use an input device for live effecting or add the desired vocal sample if post processing.

Oh fantastic! I didn’t think of using it in the instrument DSP chain. I’ll give this a try.
