Some good news about vst3 linux support

Hello!

I think its good news for perspective

https://www.kvraudio.com/news/steinberg-vst-3-6-7-sdk-released-build-352—linux-support-and-new-licensing-model-36524

For me as linux user this is exciting. Thanks to stuff like bitwig, renoise, tracktion, and ardour/mixbus…more and more commercial plug developers seem to risk jumping aboard, I already feel the critical mass rising… And now vst3 goes officially linux compatible, this might motivate even more developers.

Probably not totally there and never will, I guess because most plugin devs use extensive in-house frameworks for different things in their products that just can’t be easily ported to linux. Also linux user support is nightmare, because of the many distros and gazillion versions of system components out in the wild…
