I found a bug while sorting out a bunch of drum samples into a kit on my Akai MPD218.
If I turn 2 knobs simultaneously, renoise locks up and gives latency of over two seconds on pad presses.
If I copy each of the samples in the instruments sample list out into another instrument one by one the problem is gone and there is no latency on pad presses. But as soon as I move two knobs simultaneously again, the problem comes back. Also, it is permanent, it will stay that way if I save and reload after the problem occurs.
I dont know if it matters but i had one of the knobs assigned to main volume and the other was not assigned.
I dont think its a RAM issue because all the other instruments were working fine…it only happened in the instrument I was working on.
