Simple request: I want to trigger a sample at random places on a note on. I created this in Ableton in about 2 minutes…is this possible in renoise?
I know there is probability in renoise, but I want the randomness to be from 00-FF !
Maybe a possibility merror is to use humanize set at FF (on the advanced editor, should give fairly random numbers between 0-FF) and apply that to the ‘S’ pattern command?
Well, if we could automate sample start…

ah now i see what you mean, it’s a pretty labour intensive way of working…
a RANDOM command would be a useful addition to the FX column
