I'm just curious, after that discussion the other day about mobile DAWs etc, I'm wondering, what about mobile computers like the Raspberry Pi?

The latest one, version 3, looks as if it might be able to run a half-decent DAW, but does anyone have a list of DAWs that actually run (hopefully well) on a Raspberry Pi?

Damn shame Renoise doesn't run on it, that would have been very nice, especially as it's such a popular computer now.

Once officially released, Reaper for Linux will also run on the Raspi.

Cheers both!

Waveform looks good, I intend to download the trial and try it out on the Pi over the weekend.

Regards Reaper, it's great to hear it's officially coming to Linux, but unless they specifically develop an ARM version, it won't run on the Pi (or so I've been led to believe with other programs etc).

I could be wrong though, so don't quote me on that.

Yes, of course ARM has to be targeted specifically. But what makes you think Cockos does not target it? :-)

Wow, wasn't expecting that!

I just gave it a quick try and wow, it ran first time, didn't even have to install it.

Will have to look into changing that outrageously bad font used for the menus though, and it does feel a bit laggy, but wow, never thought Reaper would run on the RPi3!
