Probably not a bug but still anoying .
-Create pattern of 512 lines
-INsert note on line 8 ( some effects )
-Copy selection from line 8-23
-Continous paste ( ctrl-p) from line 24 .( including the empty selection )
Result …at line 504 the paste was not executed because a part of the selection ( the empty part ) fell outside the pattern range
