Cyclone sampler is not able to process/record audio in renoise , since it’s an instrument and not an effect;and because o how renoise works
Sometimes changing the dll to ‘cyclonefx.dll’ , does the job …but not in this case .
same with redux as a vst ,
It’s because of renoise limitation to use instruments to process audio
