Hi all,
I have been re-discovering Renoise lately. When editing an instrument, in the modulation section it is possible to use the keyboard velocity to modulate the pitch/amp/cutoff … (using the velocity tracking device). But I’ve found no way to use the modwheel/pitch bend/a aftertouch/ some midi CCs. Is there a way to do that ??
It seems so important to me 
mod/pitch/aftertouch of an instrument are the 3 little mapping buttons to the left of the keyboard in the instrument editor. http://tutorials.renoise.com/wiki/Instruments#MIDI_Controllers look for “MIDI Controllers”
To use other midi ccs to automate things, you have to midi map things at apropriate place, i.e. map things to a generic macro, then midi map the macro or the inst.macros meta device in a track. http://tutorials.renoise.com/wiki/MIDI_Mapping
Thanks for the answer ! Indeed it works very nicely (even if I dont understand why the velocity is assigned in a different way than other midi controller, but I guess i will understand the logic behind later).
