I Would Pay Premium Price for Renoise If______

(Fill in the blank above)

I could delete forum threads.

I don’t think it’s such a bad question

______ = If the devs were committed to keeping it technically on par with other DAWs (e g vst3, sidechaining…), and there were signs of a roadmap and vision of making it more than a tracker.

Suggested price from the top of my head: $250 with a full version every year at an upgrade price of $50

I would pay a kidney and a leg, if there was regular updates, user wishes and hotfixes.

I’m quite happy with it as it is except the lack of display scaling.

At the moment I would certainly pay a bit more if it were more live performance friendly. I have no idea how they could achieve tits though.

Thats gonna be a big price increase…

Haha damn autocorrect

Would be worth a high upgrade price though :badteeth:

I Would Pay Premium Price for Renoise Iffinesses

…it would pay me back

if renoise could properly learn me to squat like a slav

and there were signs of a roadmap and vision

this.

I Would Pay Premium Price for Renoise If______

-Renoise was expensive.

-they build in a flux compensator into the core of Renoise making us able to travel in time and steal Beethoven’s work and puplish as your own genious work. I have the plot all figured out, just wait and see.

-mafia comes to my door asking politely for Premium Renoise protection money just in case something bad happens to my family and friends.

if it had loot boxes that dropped every time I finish a song filled with random Renoise skins and sample packs. Or pay for more with microtransactions. Buy the season pass for audio tracks and piano rolls.

…if it had the special feature to connect itself with my brain to capture the song that’s playing in there and translate into an actual track, so I wouldn’t have to start with a crappy beat and a cheesy bassline :badteethslayer:

I will never pay a premium price for Renoise, but I would like to pay my new v4.1 licence (I purchased the v3.1) with a great pleasure the day it come out!! ( = troll ? )

Amen

Same here. It is really the one thing that prevents me from using Renoise all the time. If I could go back in time, I wouldn’t have bought a 1440p display when I did, but it works great for everything else, so ditching it isn’t really an option.

Would I pay extra for this feature? Yes, sadly so. I do feel it’s a basic feature needed for any software that wants to stay competitive and relevant, but I want it desperately enough to pay extra for it.

… audio tracks and better automation controls. I know I know, that’s not what renoise is about blah blah blah. But I like using audio and I prefer using renoise - but I keep having to back to logic when working with people playing real instruments.
