Ha, yeah.. Just thought the band and track name were appropriate xxx.
I only dedicate my "forum virginity" sorry you horny homophobe (I may be the girl of your dreams)
Sorry i don't want to be a troll and don't type as fast as some may.

I'm from the U.K. Chief. I find Renoise when i click on the icon in my toolbar. I love it!!! can't thank the developers and community enough, am an addict, it blows my mind, cant get enough! (May buy a thong!)

Anyway, I'm not really sold on the flat earth theory although the subject fascinates me from many different angles. Still This thread is brilliant, so thanks.

Cheers mate :) Ya sure they did for rock. In Hip Hop the cash register is what the gangster guys talk about but this one is eerily similar to the MPC to begin with. Pink Floyd did not mess with no MPC back th3n. It's got an LCD and all that pads too...what more do we need r3@11Y? :)

PS. Of you really are the girl of my dreams then you be the unicorn female tracker they lurks in these forums. Now are you that one for real?? Can I propose? Its my dream to marry a woman tracker musician. :)

Well it's seems things are passed around a little too casually...words like 'douchebag' are fine I suppose. If so then I can just edit my 'faggot' to 'douchebag'...which one u prefer most let me know... I ain't the one posting trash like that to begin with, however make sure you pass an equal message to everyone..singling me out individually won't do the trick either for me or the forum. This is what I call hypocrisy, becos slang gets passed around, along with slurs related to mental health or ageism rather remarkably casually and no one seems to disprove of that. But when that particular post gets kicked in the arse then problem ensues eh? Double standards all the way. I respect technical prowess not lack of philosophy debate prowess so you can't blame me or anyone else like me who makes that a little too obvious.

Just like in hacking cracking scenes a certain air of elistism always stays like fetid air, but if it begins to stink, then something needs to change...

Another thing, a few bad apples tend to spread the bad air around, happens everywhere in regular life too..it's called office politics. It could very well be that a small number might be wishing to get me out of here for obvious reasons..and how to do it?...just keep engaging in mindless crap so that either the target is agitated enough to leave on his own volition or he makes it look bad for himself and he gets kicked off. And because its always a rather close knit circle priority politics certainly play a part. Well if that happens anytime soon, I will stop using Renoise altogether (well secretly only maybe..) and vanish for good. I will go to other tracker softwares and enjoy what they have to offer. And in certain ways it's fine too, becos in Demoscene compos, Renoise is seen as too powerful or too easy and it's always banned in a compo...whatever, I hope it never gets to that..

Eating meat brains is actually prohibited for me. Also replacing well constructed sentences with ********* does not make it any brainier, and if it ain't brains that being sold then it's mostly an empty container, which I have no incentive to lick.

I am not a moderator. I just saw this post and voiced my opinion, i am not going around this forum doing a lot of that. Firstly, there is a clear difference between douchebag and faggot, and secondly i was browsing another topic on here and i saw more posts from you. I am not trying to single you out, that is not my job, I just happened to browse the forums a lot these days and happened upon your posts and could not help but notice your choice of vocabulary. It is not my intent to drag this out, if you feel i did you wrong just ignore my post and move on.

Hey bro so how did it go?

It didn't, cause I never gave it a go.  I never printed-out a seance board, although I genuinely intend to in the near future to aquire first-hand experience and knowledge of it.  On this occassion I was just curious, due to your religious beliefs, as to how you would respond.  You advised me, you asked me how it went, but when I got back to you with my reply, said nothing, like you didn't care I could be possessed - WTF bro?

Anyway, I'm kinda concerned due to those fingers of yours and your smooth nature.  I hope you don't turn out to be an Indian version of Tsutomu Miyazaki.  I hope your luck with women is real, and not just a fascade, cause in reality, that Miyazaki dude had a penis the size of a cashew nut, and freakish wrists and fingers.  He developed a serious inferiority complex and started eating schoolgirls (in more ways than one).  In the end, he was executed.  Personally, I think that was unacceptable despite what he did.  It wasn't his fault his genetics landed him with a cashew-sized penis, that his fingers and wrists were deformed, or that "society", even in Japan, was evil enough to taunt him to the mental state of mind he reached due to the taunting.  I'm guessing had his penis developed as expected, and there was nothing freakish about his wrists and fingers, he would have enjoyed a perfectly healthy, normal life, cause he was otherwise a perfectly normal-looking guy.

He famously referred to himself as Rat-Man, a creature who would roam the streets of Tokyo late at night (but not until he'd finished filming his sisters lathering-up in the shower):

I care a lot when stuff like this goes on, but I knew you were kidding becos you would not be taking the trouble to copy paste verbatim of a dialogue during possession (demons ain't got a degree in computer science..) cos u would not be on this forum at all and your brains would be screwed out. I am so so glad you did not proceed with it. It's not worth it at this stage at all. Better to do some readings or research and learn as much before you dive in. So I was waiting for you log back in and tell your real experience :) But for real if it piques your interest read those books I mentioned earlier and do watch 'Possession of Michael King' for its creepy realistic portrayal of a curious persons demonic possession and his eventual death. You can trust me on this one, when the voices start talking to you, it will be unbelievable but it will slowly sink into you that it's ain't your neighbours or your phone, but some invisible entity standing or hovering right beside you talking to you. And then with exhaustion and dehydration becos you won't get any sleep for sure, it will take it tolls on your health making things worse.

About me, ya I am 100% authentic bro. Serial killer I ain't, my mom and pops would not let me stay in the house if they knew I was one. I care for my soul a little too much, not my safety and security but the integrity..

Father Gabriel Amorth and his books are very good.

'Pigs at the parlor' by Hammond is another awesome book to mitigate demonic activity.

'People of the Lie' and 'Glimpses of the Devil' by Scott Peck a Harvard Pyschologist is a mind gripping tome on his experiences with seriously creepy patients and his face to face encounter with pure evil. Note how these entities try to argue and their spaghetti lines of logic, all designed to tie their target in a knot.

I got a whole boat load of Christian and Demonology stuff, papers, novels, movies , manuals, anthologies etc..it's a fascinating subject but tread with care, and start and end with a prayer. You could also start with Ed and Lorraine Warren's legacy of a more open minded and scientific approach as a well documented and respected pair of paranormal researchers. They go out debunking stuff and end up with more authentic stuff than one can handle. Their cursed objects museum is world class.

I didn't copy/paste my reply, I penned it myself, but are you saying the same has already been written in some script or dialogue?
If so, I'm very curious what it is, cause I honestly penned that myself  ^_^

Yeah, but have you got any sisters, though?  :badteeth:

Just kidding bro, you're far too easy to wind up, and I couldn't resist joining-in the current attack you're experiencing due to your easy-going nature.  I guess keeping your cool after posting the video I just did is proof enough that you're deeply religious, so much so, that there's no way of bringing you to your senses no matter how hard I try.  I don't mean that in a derogatory sense, I just mean I've given-up any hope of converting you to reality.  You're still my fave' bro on here though, no doubt about that, you stubborn, crazy fuck :D

Vic, again I thank you for the recommendations, but the books you keep pointing out are by so-called "educated" people, religious nutters, that sort of thing.  I'd rather read something down to earth, written by one whom the "educated" might see as puerile, in much the same way as Joule appears to think he's always right by default.  Are there any books out there where the author is more in favour of, and enthusiastic about, the dark, evil side of it all?  Something without all the religious waffle?  I'm not the sort to pray when undertaking any of this stuff, cause I'm not religious, so I won't be doing any of that.  I'm really just after reading something interesting from someone who takes evil and stuff like poltergeist very seriously, like I said though, has to be without all the religious waffle.  I kinda know, from the way they speak, that they're talking bullshit, so I'm more inclined to want to read something from the every-day person who was going about their life, either dabbled with this stuff or not, but who's life was then turned upside down by what they (not the religious nutters) feel was something paranormal, disturbuing, and profound.

BTW, what book did you find my reply in?

Please post it here cause I'm curious and can't see it.  I really did pen that myself, so who knows, if it was written before, there could be a meaning in it, or it could just be coincidence!

lol what sad fun you are unraveling - yes I think witch boards are more effective that meditation or drugs if you wish to become crazy as a coconut. but anyway things won't make you insane, just are able to trigger a mode nature installed into humans to answer unanswerable questions for others, keeping communities together. I wish not discuss it be real entities or some kick ass simulation of things so we can understand, and I even more refuse to discuss its origins. subconsciousness goes unfettered flying through the stars in that mode...and it can go either dark or light...well...if you choose that mode of thinking you will have to leave the world you're used to behind you, I mean, everything you know and love. for the warlock/hermit/saint type of mind being unable to sleep and eat properly, or becoming unable to integrate among other humans, is a normal thing. those who make through the trip will then be able to have peace again and will shed the results of their struggle. nowadays, if stuff goes wrong, it will drive people not into cleansing by some priest but rather into psych wards where they are drugged up so they can do no harm to themselves or others until they recover or try to manage all the stars flying by. yeah go to a psych ward for looking at people unable to handle it, or suffering some very strong version of the trip...you need to be very strong to even try, and I think not every human has potential enough to manage it at all. and some seem to be immune, or incapable of entering the spiritual mode at all, so don't be disappointed if your hands won't move by themselves. I would assume though, that the witchboard is not the best way to enter the mode, due to the negative things associated with the philosphies behind that technique, but even more so due to the fact that you let go and give your subconscious control over your body (your hands) right away, I would think that is a bad idea if you wish to prevail, and not drown in that trip. I would suggest letting go to the subconscious with methods that won't be able to manipulate your vital functions or acting in the world, you still will be unable to escape information flow until you get crazy, but you at least won't risk harming yourself or others straight away... Just wanted to bring in some reason to all this, as the techiques sometimes will work™ and it is suggested and described here how to enter one version of trip that is particularly grim. Well if you try hard enough, you might be able to switch the trip from fierce demons to aliens from zeta 3 or fairies from a wizzards realm, will still smite you, but in a more colorful way then.

@em eh once I did meditation on methods described in certain modern, laicistic books, no spiritual thing. you know like the stuff suggested for achievers to get stronger, though I'd advise you to stay away from scientology, those just want your money and then yourself as searvant, and I think they only teach simple (but effective) techniques, probably because that won't make you strong enough to overcome the masters among them, also they have a crazy cosmology going on that they will try to blind you with if you follow. I also made mistake to try own techniques one when I found my focus having become stronger, well, life happens and I'm still well of some kind. I also want to add, the type of meditation I'm talking about, similar to zen techniques, resolves around training the mental focus/attention and modes of it like you would excercise muscles. It will blow up your inner focus and perception, depending which moves you make with your attention again and again. you will become able to reflect your inner working, thoughts, feelings, you consciousness in a very lucid way depending on success of the excercise, this might sound interesting, but in fact can also be very painful as you are exposed to...at least yourself, without being able to ignore yourself or lie to yoursef, this can also destroy a man that is weak or who has been very dishonest to himself. If you are psychotic/"medium", it is advised by psychatrists not to try meditation, as it can unlock loss of control in such persons. I think, if you train your attention well enough before trying shit like the witchboard thing, you might have a better start handling the effects in case some should kick in, yeah I mean try before being exposed to the illusion, you will still bleed like mad but probably will be able to swim a little trying to keep your will uninfluenced to some degree. good luck.

And of course the compass always points to the center of the world in the middle of the disc, as invisible rays of speculation pull on the polarized metal particles in the tip of the needle from there, if you find the blob of substance causing it in the center of the world, it will grant you the great power to transform the flat shape of the earth into a spherical one, unleasing a paradoxon of the surface of the earth wrapping around itself infinitely, also unlocking dimensions above, I mean now you're no longer on a disc but inside an infinite universe, with all the stars flying around and around, come and see, all the stars, shining bright for you baby, flying around, come and see, how much the sky is shining bright for you baby, all the stars for you, baby, my heart feels the sky, flying around and around...yeah...all the stars, all the sky...

Austin Osman Spare is great, a crazy mix between sigmund freud psychology, occultism and nondualsim as advaita

the death posture, a mix of different techniques, he write about it in: the book of pleasures is a good example of how difficult it is for ratio characterized people from our cultural circle to trance (we are mainly products of our environment and ancestors)

Nowadays science has gained it own takes on the topic.

Here read in case the witchboard games eventually go wrong for you, there may be hope for you, way better than the medicine at the hospital:

http://www.bbc.com/n...health-43003378

A form of computer aided meditation without having to focus the inside, able to influence the fucking grimey voices that won't let you sleep all night and day. Might make room for more stars flying around and around...

Also I do not think many people have difficulty to enter trance state. Sure mainstream aka the working ants of the hive don't do it anymore, but it is more of a cultural thing I think. Visions have been replaced by entertainment industry. But look at the electronic music scene, techno scene, rave scene - all the fckn xtc pills sold there are means to intensify trance states gained on regular basis. Its just that science has become a less chaotic explanation for unknown things and thus is preferred to be more reliable than snorting vine powders. So yep, many ravers are probably a bit uncertain about the sensations of spirits dancing through them or showing them ideas while hi, and it makes me curious why so little ravers (though many do) that were in trance dance report such experiences, well, some do...maybe it is just the colors on the rave and all the people are more impressive than looking inwards in that state, which would be prerequisite to hallucinate in a spiritual mode.

Anybody on Quora btw, similar format to this thread, some questions and answers are very controversial, difference being yet no one bickers about anything peppered with red chillies..and you get to learn lots of stuff from people with real experience and lots of personal stories too. It's actually quite big in India :)

@Renoised: I was not referring to any book regarding your post yesterday which you did twice, I was talking about the fact with sarcasm that a demon would not have computer skills to copy paste stuff to your screen on this forum hence I was chilled about it.

'Glimpses of the devil' and 'People of the Lie' are outstanding books by an original skeptic. It's not about reading someone's opinion on a book but about trying to see what they might have to share too and then you clean what you can and filter what you think is irrelevant. Start with those books becos they will give a very good insight about this whole thing. It's legit too hence. Eric Fromm is anothet person who has written some provoking stuff about evil. Research about him and his works.

@OopsFly, some relevant stuff you talking about and very true about the club scene. Infact even here in India, the club's are all about F&B, it's about selling alcohol and snacks to sell more alcohol and make money by playing loud music in a closed room and dim lights. When the regular wine shops close, these venues are the places where stuff sells all over again. It's all business end of the day. Drugs are very illegal out here and since drugs are kinda findable over there its big business too. Same thing with SE Asia, these business things are spiking something young folks can actually have a nice time with.

@OopsIFly

how deep is your trance?

I meant with trance a full-trance, obsession or blackout, sry had not write that clearly
physical symptoms with twitching eyes and limbs had seen something like that only once person in a club

for comparison, what I saw in asia is that nothing
In Indosia I had the impression that people can control it even partially
mask dance with and without obsession depending on the holiday

a slight trance or psychologically flow also happens here and is something nice (dancing, monoton works, creatively, drugs too)
my impression, also meditate is more time a trance state as observe although this is not desirable

@OopslFly, You sound as if you think I believe in all that stuff, but that is not the case.  I just think it's vital for each person to verify their own curiosity, and basically, that's all I'm wanting to do.  I suspect that 'evil' is something deeply rooted in all of us, but the ease with which it is brought forward into actual physicality, is entirely dependant on a person's life experiences.  Rat-Man is the perfect example.  What's interesting about his case is that he took pleasure in taunting the families of the girls he killed.  From a very young age, his sisters were taunting him for his hands being rodent-like, referring to him as a rat, to the extent they used to lay mouse traps along side his bed that he would tread on.  That would explain why he took pleasure in "taunting" the families of those girls.  I'm guessing he had nothing personal against them, but was so intent on revenge that, having finally flipped, he felt he was returning a life-time of torture.  On top of that, the guy had a serious inferiority complex due to the size of his penis, and I'm guessing that made him think, well, I'm never going to get laid with a dick like this, so I'll have to take it.

So I think evil is rooted in all of us, and it's traumatic life events that can trigger it.  I don't for one moment believe it's possession by the devil or anything like that.  It's a common belief in psychology, that "Psychopaths are born, not made", but that is complete bullshit, psychopaths are a product of society - end of.  The only difference between a psychopath and one considered normal, is that the psychopath has suffered something profound enough to trigger it, and we need to remember that the trigger level differs considerably in people.

As for "God", I shall use Rat-Man once again to demonstrate this, cause if he does exist, then he must be a complete and utter bastard.  Why did he give Rat-Man a tiny dick and rodent hands from birth?  He could not have possibly deserved it, cause he had no time to deserve it, he was born that way!  And what could the four girls he butchered, have possibly done to deserve their horrendous, early demise?  I'll leave it for those who believe in "God", to question why they worship such a man.  Fact is, Rat-Man's behaviour was a product of "society", nothing else (hence why I emphasised the word "society" in the original post about him).  Society is largely a product of religion, and religion is a product of brain-washing and herd mentality.  Despite "society" causing him to flip, "society" murdered him, making "society" the biggest monster of all.

As for the paranormal, that is a different thing entirely, because as I said, it involves the conscious, something science really knows nothing about, and therefore, cannot dismiss.  I'm not talking about drug-induced states, trances etc, I'm talking about seeking a genuine paranormal experience, should it be possible.  You peeps are seriously fucked-up, you're like a bunch of crazed, weed-puffing weirdos (I still love you though)

@Vic:  Thinking out loud.  Funnily enough Vic I've been on this forum (very occasionally) for the past 6-7 years.  Now you come to mention it AFAIK I don't really think there is a small 'inner sanctum' of elite individuals that are here to outwit you and put you down etc..  My take on Joule for example...From my point of view Joule has made reasonable comments, tends to be direct concise and straightforward with a point (whether you accept the point or not.  I wouldn't argue, and even if we did I'm sure we would accept each others take on a matter.)  If me and Joule were given the same task say in Renoise lua, I'm sure 1) Joules would be very ordered and lua OOP in nature and let's be honest be a lot better than mine and 2) Mine would be just a function/procedure stupid hack up (and the chances are wouldn't look as good.)  But I don't attack the man, I think the last time I said something to Joule was that he wouldn't be programming Clojure in a hurry (especially on his new keyboard ;))  (Come to think of it, Clojure...oh well that's something else...)

If I asked you something about the Windows Portable Executable file format header information I'm sure 1) you could answer me and 2) it would be tricky to present that answer without looking as though you are putting me down in some fashion.  But I know that you are (hopefully) giving me a straight answer to my question, there really isn't any other way of doing it.  If I reply questioning your answer, you've got to either accept the question and put me straight what you believe is the right way of looking at it, or you accept that I might have a point or we part ways believing each others take on it.  That's the only way we can do it in an orderly way.

tl;dr  I don't mind Vic if you believe in flat earth theory, demons, or if you are a gifted genius.  I don't see myself as someone on a world stage elitist level believe me :)

@random I don't trance, I think it is dangerous for the health, I fear loss of control too much (because of...experiences) for it to have good preconditions for a fruitful flight to begin with, and have heard the state is either very far out or leaves nothing desireable in its bearer and often even no memory of what happend. I don't want to risk opening up a can like this, as I know with the mind it is like, once a can has been opened it is ready all the time, only the first time opening takes effort and learning how to do it again and again, and after the first time until it is mastered cans might pop up spontaneously even when you are not ready at that moment...

I like watching my thoughts or myself dancing now and then though, but it is very sober, controlled state I can switch on and off at any time, and I can control myself while I am watching (might sound paradox, but it took me little time to get used to it). I learnt this in meditation. Also since I am never bored (if I'm idle the flow starts for me to grow upon myself innerly, and if I don't follow it, time just passes without me worrying about it), and I can wait virtually any amount of time. It also has its serious downsides though, especially for me hehe. I don't practise any more because I think it is enough for me and I need to sort other things in my life first before chopping away so much time, but I remember deeper states as similar to psylo mushrooms, you're just perfectly sober while it happens and able to think logical.

I also think lucid dreaming is an interesting idea if one really wishes to risk messing with the unconscious, also very controlled but the quality of bein in another world. aside from some spontaneous experiences I haven't managed to consciously reach the state. states before though, by meditating in sleeping position and letting part of the mind go, dropping it "to sleep" while trying to maintain focus on self and thoughts, were very interesting...like when hypnagogies appeared, after a while of staying awake and watching them thoughts were slowly transforming into dream like sequences, still having the same qualities as rational thinking, but in form being a stream of dreamlike 3rd person cutscenes that somehow represented the train of thought. It is supposed that you can reach a lucid dream if you are persistent enough, but I always fell asleep into normal dreams or woke up before that happened.

Deep trance I've only ever seen associated with ethnic/spiritual happenings. My understanding is though, that there are similarities between the modes and visions, but the culture also massively seems to influence what happens - see christian trance happenings who think they experience the holy ghost, vs. the things voodoo people describe, after a state that is reached with different methods but in effect looks very similar. It seems to be a very rough, intense and wild thing. It might be tempting to wish to know what happens in the visions, but I believe you generally fuck yourself royally with any of such techniques applied, the information gained it very cryptic and seems often to have rather achaic qualities, and also I believe similar informations can be gained in more controlled fashion...just the performance is not as intense and it is harder and takes more dedication and lots of practising time to reach similar depths in the quality of the information.

Edit: yes @Renoised you're not interested in hallucinations, but want to talk to the gods, or what is your pursuit? I mean, it would be logical, that if you really wished to do that, you would have to become master of the whole world, first. To whom else would gods way above the human level talk with even the faintest glimpse of sincerity, even that probably still spoiled by the options of having a mind x dimensions larger than you. And...to find out, if there is something above us humans is a strenous task. I'm a stoned loser, so I decided not to even try in this life. So I practiced waiting, watching rainbows that pop up when you do. Someone needs to pay the bills, so I decided to try to strive for becoming a music producer. Well what else does one loser have, as following dreams and such? Society keeps many people from blooming up or even get any chance, that is right, but I am not sure which ideas you would like to point ot with that point? I'm happy with music, in the mean time. Music is a nice dream, it is refreshing and nourishes the heart to pursue making some. Wondering if the fucking buddhists might be right, and I'd have further chances to try to learn what all this stuff is about. At least they seem good in...finding out how to try to wait until that happens. There comes nice music, with the waiting.
