how to grab a synth preset from xrns?

When you re producing a track, sometimes you remember the great, let’s say sylenth bass preset you used on a old track and wanna try it on your new tune. Is there a way to grab it like when you grab a sample from an archive or you need to open the other project, export the preset and load it into your new project?

Unfortunately there’s no built-in or tool way that I know of to pull a plugin preset from a .xrns file. It_might_ be possible to parse the XML in some way (I have no idea) but the only sure-fire way I know of right now is to export from old and import to new.
